New Delhi: Kannada superstar Sudeep has completed 27 years in show biz. The actor penned a heartwarming gratitude note for fans on social media. Kichcha Sudeep works as an actor, director, screenwriter, producer, singer, television presenter primarily in Kannada films though he has worked in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi films as well. He is known for many acclaimed Kannada films.
“It’s surely been a memorable journey. Glad that I have managed to survive these 27 years in the field of Cinema with so many awesome talents all around. Want to thank all those wonderful talents for having inspired me to do better and deliver to the best of my ability,” Sudeep wrote on Twitter.
“I take a bow to all u frnzz for having my back each and every time. I feel blessed and so dearly loved. Wanna thank KFI for having given me the opportunities. It will be incomplete if i wouldn’t thank Hindi, Tamil, & Telugu fraternities for believing in me,” he added.
Kichcha Sudeep made his debut with 'Thayava' in 1997 and hasn't looked back ever since. He made his Bollywood debut with 'Phoonk' in 20228 and also went on to star in Ram Gopal Varma's movies like 'Rann', 'Phoonk 2' and 'Rakta Charitra'.
Starting from 'Veera Parampare' in 2010, he changed his stage name from Sudeep to Sudeepa as per S Narayan's advice and after the film's success decided to keep the new nomenclature.
Sudeepa made his Telugu cinema debut with SS Rajamouli's highly-acclaimed film 'Eega' where he portrayed the role of an industrialist. His performance and the film were acclaimed by fans and critics alike.
Sudeep reunited with SS Rajamouli for 'Baahubali: The Beginning' where he did a cameo of a Persian arms trader.
In 2019, Kichcha Sudeep was seen in 'Dabangg 3' alongside Salman Khan where he portrayed the role of his arch nemesis.
Sudeep made his directorial debut with 'My Autograph' in 2006. The film was a commercial success. Post that, Sudeep directed many Kannada films. He also own a film production company which goes by the name Kiccha Creations.
