In an unfortunate turn of events, Kannada television actress Soujanya was found dead at her home in Bengaluru on Thursday (September 30). According to reports, the actress hung herself to death and her mortal remains were found hanging in her room. She left a suicide note signed as Savi Madappa, her real name along with her screen name where she mentioned about problems with her mental health and not being able to cope.

The actress, a native of Karnataka's Kodagu district but living in Bengaluru, has repeatedly apologised in the four-page note to her parents and other family members and friends.

It seems to have been written over three days, suggesting she was contemplating suicide through this time.

"I am only responsible for this...so family, please forgive me...I had promised I'll never do such stupid thing in my life but I had no option. I was totally killed inside. Day by day, I was going so low. I never seen me before like before," the note said.

Reports claim that Soujanya was living with her boyfriend in an apartment on the outskirts of Bengaluru.

She was only 25-years-old and a case has been registered and an investigation is currently underway. The actress had acted in a few TV serials and films like 'Chaukattu Fun' and 'Nanobbne Olleyavnu' . On Thursday, she had sent her boyfriend to bring breakfast and when he returned he found her dead.

Ealrlier in January this year, another Kannada actress and a Bigg Boss contestant Jayasree Ramaiah had died by suicide.
