New Delhi: June 2022 is going to be a competitive month for Bollywood and Tollywood films at the box office. From 'Samrat Prithviraj', 'Major' to 'Vikram', 'Jug Jugg Jeeyo' and 'Janhit Mein Jaari', major film releases are happening. While all of these films are releasing on different weekends, naturally all eyes will be set on the best performer.
Let's take a look at the different films that will be releasing in June.
'Samrat Prithviraj': This Akshay Kumar starrer has been directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi. It has been made on a budget of Rs 300 crores and is a historial period-action film on the life of warrior king Prithviraj Chauhan.
'Samrat Prithviraj' will also mark Miss World 2017 pageant winner Manushi Chhillar's debut. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt and Sonu Sood. 'Samrat Prithviraj' will release in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi on 3rd June.
'Jug Jugg Jeeyo': This film is being touted as a family entertainer featuring Kiara Advani, Varun Dhawan, Neetu Singh and Anil Kapoor. It has been directed by Raj Mehta and is being promoted intensively.
'Jug Jugg Jeeyo's songs have already broken the internet with fans and celebrities grooving to their catchy beats. This film is slated for a release on 24th June.
'Major': 'Major is a biographical action drama based on the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, an army officer who was killed in the 2008 Mumbai attacks. Adivi Sesh is playing the titular role in the film. Thie Mahesh Babu production has been directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka and is all set for a release on 24th May 2022.
'Vikram': A Kamal Haasan starrer Tamil action thriller that also features Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil, 'Vikram' has been the talk of the town for quite some time.
One of the most-anticipated films of 2022, 'Vikram' has been written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and is all set for a release on 3rd June 2022.
'Janhit Mein Jaari': This social-comedy drama features Nushrratt Bharuccha in the lead besides strong supporting cast members like Vijay Raaz and Anud Dhaka.
Directed by Jai Basantu Singh, the film is all set for a release on 10th June 2022.
All films belong to different genres. Some of these are likely to clash with each other but perhaps will perform well and be beneficial for all.
