New Delhi: There have been rumours doing rounds that Jaaved Jaaferi’s son and megastar Amitabh Bachchan’s grand-daughter Navya Naveli Nanda are dating. Many pictures of the two circulated on social media many times which created a buzz amongst the netizens about their rumoured relationship. Recently, Jaaved revealed some inside details about his son Meezaan and Navya’s rumoured relationship while speaking to a leading daily.
The ‘Salaam Namaste’ actor recently revealed that Meezaan and Navya’s relationship is a piece of rumour and that they are ‘good friends’. While speaking to Times Of India, Jaaved was quoted saying by the publication, “People want content. Being good friends with somebody is considered to be something else always. These children have grown up together; my daughter and Navya have been friends since school.”
The ‘Coolie No 1’ actor further told the publication, “They have a common group of friends. Even Sara Ali Khan and Meezan were in the same school. They used to come home, hang around till 3 am. It is convenient to link them up as they are always together.”
While Navya Naveli Nanda is Shweta Bachchan Nanda and businessman Nikhil Nanda’s daughter and is very popular on social media. Meezaan, on the other hand, started his career as an Assistant Director for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film ‘Bajirao Mastani’ and made his acting debut with the SLB’S romantic 2019 ‘Malaal’ opposite Sharmin Segal. This movie is a remake of the 2004 Tamil film ‘7G Rainbow Colony’.
Meezaan will be next seen starring in the upcoming movie ‘Hungama 2’. This movie will also star Shilpa Shetty, Paresh Rawal and Pranitha Subhash.
