The Instagram rich list for the year 2021 is out now and ace cricketer Virat Kohli and actress Priyanka Chopra are the only two Indian celebs to feature in the top 30. The Instagram rich list is released every year and it ranks celebrities, sports personalities and Instagram influencers based on how much they are paid for each post they promote on the social networking site.
This year, footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has topped the list followed by Hollywood superstar Dwayne Johnson and pop-sensation Ariana Grande. Christiano has 308 million followers on Instagram and earns a whopping USD 1,604,000 or Rs 11.9 crore approximately for each sponsored post.
Christiano Ronaldo is followed by Dwayne Johnson and Ariana Grande who earn Rs 11.3 crore (USD 1,523,000) and Rs 11.2 crore (USD 1,510,000), respectively. Instagram sensation and makeup mogul Kylie Jenner is on the 4th spot followed by Selena Gomez, Kim Kardashian, Lionel Messi and Beyonce, respectively.
While cricketer, Virat Kohli who was at 23 last year is now in the top 20 at the 19th position this year and earns Rs 5 crore for a post.
Virat is ahead of American singer-rapper Cardi B and Demi Lovato on the list.
Priyanka Chopra is on the 27th spot and if reports are to be believed, she makes $403,000 (an estimated Rs 3 crore) for every promotional post she makes on the photo-blogging app.
Last year, Priyanka was at the 19th spot on the list. This year she is ahead of Harry Potter fame actress Emma Watson and former fotballer David Beckhem.
