New Delhi: Johnny Depp concluded his testimony stating that he is a victim of domestic abuse. The actor was testifying to the proceedings of a defamation case for the fourth day in a Virginia court.
Earlier in the day, Depp was answering a question post a cross-examination round wherein he was asked to name his films. Of all the films Depp has done, it was reported in The Indian Express that he only remembered 'Alice In Wonderland'.
“I’m so pathetic when it comes to knowing what movies I’ve done. I’m sorry. I just, I don’t watch them. I feel better not watching them. What was the question again?” Johnny said. Many in the room laughed at Johnny's statement which forced Judge Azcarate to warn members of the court. He said, “Order in the court or I will have you removed. Understood? Thank you.”
Later, Depp concluded his testimony by recalling a conversation with Heard after an explosive fight in which she can be heard saying, "Tell the world Johnny, tell them Johnny Depp, I'm Johnny Depp, a man, I'm a victim too of domestic violence, and see how many people believe or side with you."
This recording and latest development in the case has left Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's fans divided as they express support for one over another on social media platforms like Twitter.
Johnny Depp is also suing Amber Heard for $ 50 million. While Amber Heard tried to get the case dismissed, she could not and countersued for $100 million, reported CNN.
Johnny Depp is fighting a libel lawsuit against former wife and fellow actor Amber Heard who accused him of physically and sexually assaulting her on multiple occasions.
