New Delhi: Bollywood actors are many-a-times known for throwing their starry tantrums and having an attitude. But one of the leading stars of today, Nawazuddin Siddiqui is not one of them. The actor, who commands the superstar stature because of his exemplary performances, travelled in a local train to reach the event of ABP Ideas of India, in Mumbai, on Saturday.

The actor, who is one of the highest paid actors of the industry, took a local train and hitched a two-wheeler ride to reach the event venue because of high vehicular traffic. Nawazuddin proved his mettle as an actor in real life, by masking his identity while travelling in Mumbai's local train.

A video of the 'Raman Raghav' actor is trending big time on social media after an Instagram user shared the video of Nawazuddin, travelling in a local train, opposite him. The video shows Nawazuddin waiting at the platform and later on, inside a local train. The actor can be seen wearing black sunglasses, a cap and a mask.

Welcoming Nawazuddin at the event, ABP's Sumit Awasthi told the audience how the actor managed to reach the event. Awasthi said, "Nawaz was in Kerala in the morning. Before coming to the event, he was shooting in Meera Road, which is very far from the event's venue. In order to reach the venue on time, the actor boarded the local train, took a lift from someone and then reached the venue."

The audience cheered for Nawazuddin. On being asked how he managed to pull it off without being recognised, the 'Gangs Of Wasseypur' actor said, "I wore a safa and a mask. Aajkal easy ho gaya hai mask ke wajah se."

He also talked about how he felt "every thing is alright now" when he waited for the train at the station. He added, "yahi toh main tha."

Nawazuddin went candid as he discussed on various topics including Hollywood films, nepotism and racism in Bollywood, and how the OTT has boomed yet the quality of content is dipping.

He also delivered a dialogue from one of his popular films 'Manjhi: The Mountain Man' and his Emmy nominated web-series ' Sacred Games'.

Towards the end of the discussion, Nawazuddin said that it's important for the Indian entertainment industry to produce good content and carve a niche in global cinema.
