New Delhi: The 96th Academy Awards shortlists in ten categories have been revealed by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. 'Barbie', the comedic blockbuster helmed by Greta Gerwig, is nominated in five categories, while 'Oppenheimer' is nominated in three.


Top among the mentions is Greta Gerwig's humorous film 'Barbie', which is nominated in five categories: sound, original song, as well as an original score. In the categories of makeup and hairstyling, original score, and sound, Christopher Nolan's 'Oppenheimer' earns nominations.


But this time, there was not an Indian movie on the shortlist.
