New Delhi: A special get-together for Jennifer Aniston's 'Friends' castmates is apparently in being planned. This exclusive gathering, which is being held in her Bel-Air residence during the holidays, is meant to pay tribute to Matthew Perry, who unfortunately passed away earlier this year. A recent rumor claims that the Friends may get together again for a special yet exclusive reunion.

Perry, well known for his portrayal as Chandler Bing, was found dead in his Pacific Palisades home on October 28, leading an investigation into his cause of death. The sitcom's ensemble, which included Jennifer Aniston, Matt LeBlanc, Courteney Cox, and Lisa Kudrow, all attended the funeral ceremony last month.

According to OK Magazine, Jennifer wanted to make the Friends cast's holiday celebration extra memorable.

A source told the publication, “It was always their plan to get together just the five of them, so they could feel comfortable about saying whatever’s on their minds.” This private gathering, kept confidential, is a homage to their cherished co-star, Matthew Perry. Although his absence is felt, it will evoke shared memories and heartfelt laughter.

“They’ll reminisce about some of their favorite times with Matt and share stories and laugh and cry.” Expanding on the reasons for the special gathering, they mentioned that during the funeral, they refrained from expressing their grief fully out of respect for Matt's family. “The funeral was such a sad occasion, but it was mainly for Matt’s family, and they held back out of respect for them,” the source added.

According to the autopsy report, Matthew Perry's death was caused by a fatal combination of ketamine overdose and other narcotics. Nobody is taken aback to find out that the late actor struggled with substance abuse for a long time; he even filmed 'Friends' while intoxicated.
