The 2023 Grammy Award nominees have been announced. Some interesting names are on the nominees list for the biggest music award show. Beyonce holds the most nominations (9 total) among the well-known artists who released new music during the eligible period.
In addition to the standard categories, the Recording Academy has added five new awards for 2023: Songwriter of the Year, Non-Classical; Best Alternative Music Performance; Best Americana Performance; Best Score Soundtrack for Video Games and Other Interactive Media; and Best Spoken Word Poetry Album. A Special Merit Award for "Best Song for Social Change" will also be given out.
In keeping with tradition, comedian Trevor Noah, who hosted the last two awards, will present the 65th Grammy Awards on February 5, 2023.
