Gabru Gang Review: The passion for cinema and sports runs in the veins of every Indian, and imagine how entertaining it would be for audiences if an amazing blend of film and sports were created. While Hindi cinema has seen several films based on sports such as cricket, football, hockey, boxing, badminton, and running, now a Hindi film 'Gabru Gang' based on kite flying has been released. The story of the film is set in Punjab.

Renowned actor Abhishek Duhan, famous for his performances in films like 'Mukkabaaz', 'Patakha', 'Veere Di Wedding', and 'Sultan', has excellently portrayed a leading role in this film. The background music by Amar Mohile adds new energy to the scenes.

As for the storyline, it's quite intriguing. An 8-year-old boy, Rajbir Saluja, along with his two friends Arshad and Uday, wins the prestigious kite-flying competition High-Fly in 1999 and becomes number one in Punjab by 2011. The best team, Gabru Gang, becomes everyone's favorite. However, fate had something else written, and in 2011, Rajbir loses to Harry from Delhi Shahjade team in the final because he loses focus on the game and gets distracted by a girl in the final moments. After a fight with Uday, Rajbir quits playing and breaks the Gabru Gang. But destiny forces Rajbir to fly kites once again, which is a crucial turning point in the story.

High-Fly 2019 has become a huge brand, and the competition has reached the national level where 29 teams from 29 states will participate. Gabru Gang will have to fight together as they need to defeat the local teams to represent Punjab and then win the High-Fly 2019 final cup. Rajbir's challenge is to defeat Harry, the same boy who defeated him in 2011. The climax of the film astonishes the audience.

The film's most special aspect is its interesting plot, which includes drama, twists, excellent music, fantastic background score, natural acting by actors, and some impactful dialogues that keep you engaged throughout.

Director Sameer Khan has skillfully directed the film and deserves praise for handling such a good sports drama. He has extracted excellent performances from all the actors and succeeded in making an essential and entertaining cinema.

Abhishek Duhan has portrayed the main character of Rajbir very well, showcasing the emotions of a player perfectly. Aarti Puri is a seasoned actress who has justified her role. Due to her acting skills, she has gained recognition, especially in the television series 'Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon', and has made a significant addition to her filmography with Gabru Gang.

The rest of the cast has also presented kite flying in the right manner, which reflects the hard work of director Sameer Khan.

For sports drama enthusiasts, Gabru Gang is no less than a gift. The film offers entertainment for every age group.

The film gets a rating of 3 out of 5 stars.
