A cyber complaint was filed against TikTok star Faizal Siddiqui for glorifying acid attacks on women after facing rejection in an old video. This came after the National Commission for Women (NCW) took cognisance of the matter. The video went viral on social media, and people asked the NCW to take action. The issue was brought to the attention of the Chairperson for National Commission for Women (NCW), Rekha Sharma by BJP leader Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga, to which she responded on Monday morning, 'I am taking it up today itself with both the police and TikTok.'

Faizal Siddiqui, who has 13.4 million followers, posted a video on TikTok, where he can be seen saying 'Usne tumhe chhor dia? Jiske liye tumne mujhe chhora tha' and throws a liquid on a girl, who is wearing heavy makeup that supposedly looks like burn marks.

Faizal Siddiqui is the brother of another controversial Tik Tok star Amir Siddiqui, who was recently feuding with Indian youtuber CarryMinati over a series of roasts. CarryMinati’s video has now been deleted from YouTube since it did not adhere to the community guidelines.
