An FIR was registered against Bollywood actors Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani on Wednesday for allegedly violating the pandemic norms by roaming at a public place without a valid reason, a Mumbai Police official said. Shroff along with Disha was found roaming near the Bandra bandstand in the evening, hours after the 2 PM deadline for restrictions on the movement of people outside their houses without a valid reason.


"A police team spotted Shroff roaming in the Bandstand area in the evening. When questioned, he couldn't give a satisfactory reply to why he was roaming outside. Police took down his details and registered a case under section 188 (Disobeying the order of public servant) of the IPC," the official said, adding it was a bailable offence and no arrest was made. 


The official twitter handle of Mumbai police on Thursday morning tweeted about the same without taking the actors' name but insted used their films name in the tweet that reads: In the ongoing ‘War’ against the virus, going ‘Malang’ on the streets of Bandra cost dearly to two actors who have been booked under sections 188, 34 IPC by Bandra PStn . We request all Mumbaikars to avoid unnecessary ‘Heropanti’ which can compromise on safety against #COVID19



According to a reports, Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani were stopped by the Mumbai Police when they were enjoying a car drive in Bandra. The report mentioned that the rumoured couple was stopped during the second round at Bandstand in Mumbai’s Bandra. As per the report, a source revealed that Tiger and Disha were enjoying a peaceful drive in Bandra after their gym session. While Tiger was sitting behind, Disha Patani was sitting in the front.


On the work front, the actor was last seen in Ahmed Khan's 'Baaghi 3' co-starring Shraddha Kapoor. The film also starred Riteish Deshmukh and Ankita Lokhande. He will next feature in 'Heropanti 2' with Kriti Sanon and 'Ganpath'. Disha was last seen in Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai opposite Salman Khan. The film was directed by Prabhudeva and also starred Randeep Hooda, Jackie Shroff in prominent roles.
