New Delhi: Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, Akshay Khanna, Tabu starrer 'Drishyam 2' is unstoppable at the box office. Despite many other film releases, fans and audiences continue to watch the Abhishek Pathak film. In its third week of release, the film has collected Rs. 167.93 crores at the box office. Bankrolled on a medium budget, 'Drishyam 2' is churning profits for its producers. Meanwhile, Ayushmann Khurrana starrer 'An Action Hero' opened with a dismal start at the box office.

Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared 'Drishyam 2's numbers and wrote, "#Drishyam2 eclipses the biz of all films… Expect a jump in numbers on [third] Sat and Sun… [Week 3] Fri 4.45 cr. Total: ₹ 167.93 cr. #India biz."

He also shared that 'An Action Hero's low take off is surprising at the box office. Taran Adarsh tweeted, "#AnActionHero opens to shockingly low numbers on Day 1… Needs to salvage the situation on Day 2 and 3… Fri ₹ 1.31 cr. #India biz."

As per our in house review, "An Action Hero is really good in parts, and especially the pre-interval film which has you surprised and hooked when the interval card plays. The post-interval film gets way out of bounds of believability but the fact it is so relatable with the way Ayushmann is invested in his performance, 'An Action Hero' deserves a special mention."

“An Action Hero' is a must-watch film this weekend for all things style, substance and everything in between,” it added.

Meanwhile, 'Drishyam 2' is the remake of the Malayalam film ;Drushyam 2: The Resumption' starring superstar Mohanlal in the lead.
