'Drishyam 2' Director Abhishek Pathak Ties Knot With Shivaleeka Oberoi, Couple Share First Official Wedding Pictures

The pre-wedding festivities of Abhishek and Shivaleeka took place on February 8, while the pheras were held on February 9, followed by an after-party.

New Delhi: 'Drishyam 2' Director Abhishek Pathak and Actress Shivaleeka Oberoi tied the knot yesterday in Goa. The wedding ceremony was said to be traditional with a modern touch. The pre-wedding festivities took place on February 8, while the pheras were held on February 9, followed by an after-party. The wedding outfits for both, the bride and the groom, were designed by Manish Malhotra with a few unique customisations. 

Shivaleeka looked gorgeous in a crimson lehenga, while Abhishek sported an off-white sherwani.

On Friday, Shivaleeka and Abhishek officially announced their wedding and shared a series of pictures on Instagram. Shivaleeka posted the picture with the caption, "You don’t find love, it finds you. It’s got a lot to do with destiny, fate and what’s written in the stars."

She further wrote, "Last evening 9th Feb 2023, surrounded by our loved ones, we got married in a place where our relationship bloomed. This will forever be the most magical moment of our life! With our hearts full of love and so many memories, we can’t wait to build even more special ones and begin this new journey together. Seeking your love & blessings."

The wedding was an intimate affair, attended by their close friends, family members and colleagues from the industry. Celebrities such as Ajay Devgn and Aaman Devgan, Kartik Aaryan, Nushrratt Bharuccha, Vidyut Jammwal, Sunny Singh, Bhushan Kumar, Director Luv Ranjan, Ishita Raj Sharma and many more attended the wedding.

The enormous hit 'Drishyam 2' was directed by Abhishek Pathak. The film starred, Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Akshaye Khanna, Shriya Sharan, Ishita Dutta, and Mrunal Jadhav.

While, Shivaleeka Oberoi made her Bollywood debut in 'Yeh Saali Aashiqui,' opposite Vardhan Puri, Amrish Puri's grandson. She was most recently seen in 'Khuda Haafiz: Chapter 2' alongside Vidyut Jammwal.
