Mumbai Dragonfly Club Raid: Suresh Raina's Management Responds, Says ‘He Was Not Aware Of Local Timings & Protocols’
Earlier today, both Suresh Raina and Guru Randhawa released statements through their management saying that they were not aware of the local timings and protocols in the city.
Hrithik Roshan’s former wife Sussanne Khan, recently took to her Instagram and shared a post clarifying what happened during the night of the raid. She shared a long note which read, “A humble Clarification: Last night I was at a close friend’s birthday dinner & a few of us extended to the DragonFly club at JW Marriott, Sahar. At 2.30 am the authorities entered the club. Whilst the club management and the authorities were sorting things out, all the guests present were asked to wait for a period of three hours. We were finally allowed to leave at 6 am. Therefore, the speculation by parts of the media that there were arrests made are completely incorrect and also irresponsible.”
She further added, “I fail to understand why we were made to wait or what the issue was with the authorities and the club. I am setting the record straight with this statement. I have utmost regard & respect for the Mumbai Police and for all their selfless efforts in keeping us Mumbaikars safe. Without their constant vigilance for public welfare, we would not feel safe. Best regards Sussanne.”
Sources in Mumbai police said that the raid was conducted in the Dragonfly Club situated in JW Marriott at around 3:00 am on the instructions of DCP Jain. The raid was conducted as the current functional time limit for pubs in Mumbai is set by the civic body till 11.30 pm whereas the Dragonfly club was operating till 4 am, said the police.
However, the organiser of the party has not been yet confirmed the same.
