New Delhi: In ‘Pathaan’, directed by Aditya Chopra, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan shared the big screen after a really long time. This action film also heralded the beginning of the YRF Spy Universe, as it featured the first meeting of two of its super-spies, Shah Rukh Khan as Pathaan and Salman as Tiger.

The makers of 'Pathaan' understood that the crossover between SRK and Salman's "super-spy" avatars needed to become bigger and better each time if they wanted to keep audiences engaged.

For more than six months, Aditya Chopra and ‘Tiger 3’ director Maneesh Sharma has been plotting this scenario so that it would become a national topic of conversation.

Now, at the end of April, Shah Rukh Khan will make his entry into the Tiger series with a 7-day-long action scene filmed in Mumbai that promises to provide nonstop thrills.

IANS quotes a source saying, "When SRK & Salman's sequence was planned for 'Pathaan', the makers realised that such cross-overs of super-spies will need to go a notch higher every single time it happens because that's the biggest USP for audiences. So, the writer, Adi and Maneesh went into a huddle and took six months to write and visualise Pathaan's entry in Tiger's timeline! Every detail of this shoot has been planned keeping in mind that it needs to deliver full on paisa vasool entertainement that is also a spectacle for audiences."

This Diwali will see the release of ‘Tiger 3’, featuring Salman Khan as Tiger, Katrina Kaif as the character Zoya, and Emraan Hashmi as Tiger’s enemy.
