The couple is celebrating their 23rd wedding anniversary in style today. While they express their love for one another on social media, we decided to travel back in time and revisit the lovebirds' love story from a few years ago.
Did you know that Kajol's father refused to talk to her for four days when she informed him of her intention to marry Ajay Devgn?
In one of the unfiltered conversations, Kajol revealed, "We’d been dating for 4 years, when we decided to get married. His parents were on board, but my dad didn’t talk to me for 4 days. He wanted me to focus on my career, but I was firm & he eventually came around. Again, there was no proposal–we just knew we wanted to spend our lives together."
Today, Ajay Devgn resorted to Twitter and posted a lovely video clip from one of his interviews with Kajol.
Ajay Devgn began the countdown to their anniversary with a playful Instagram post. It's from when the two appeared on Koffee With Karan. It's from the scene in which the actor forgot the anniversary date and an enraged Kajol informed him.
They have appeared in various films together, including Gundaraj, Ishq, Dil Kya Kare, Raju Chacha, and Pyaar Toh Hona Hi Tha. The duo was last seen together in Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, a 2020 historical drama starring Saif Ali Khan.
They have two kids. Nysa, the couple's daughter, was born in 2003, and Yug, their son, was born in 2010.
