New Delhi: Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon’s ‘Bhediya’ has been appreciated by critics and viewers alike. The duo was busy promoting their films on various platforms and were recently seen on ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ as special guests. On the show, Varun dropped a hint that Kriti is in a relationship with her 'Adipurush' co-star Prabhas.
On the show, Karan Johar asked Varun to name a few single Bollywood ladies, but Kriti’s name was missing from the list. In the clip that is going viral, Karan is seen questioning Varun about why Kriti's name was not on the list. Varun replies, “Kriti ka naam isiliye nahi tha kyunki Kriti ka naam kisi ke dil me hai. Ek aadmi hai jo Mumbai me nahi hai, vo iss waqt shooting kar raha hai Deepika (Padukone) ke saath. (Kriti's name is not here because her name is in someone's heart. That man is not in Mumbai because right now he is shooting with Deepika).”
While Varun didn’t take Prabhas’s name, it is to be noted that Prabhas is working with Deepika on 'Project K', a bilingual film that also stars Amitabh Bachchan.
Some fans pointed out that Deepika and Prabhas are not currently shooting for the film and wondered if it is just a promotional stunt for Adipurush.
Kriti had recently spoken about her experience of working with Prabhas. "I would love to work with him again, I had a great time working with him... apart from food something unique about him... I think he has some weird purity in his eyes. Sometimes, I’ve seen his shots like, when the camera is really close there is so little that he does with his eyes & you can really feel everything that he is feeling. I think he is one of those people whose eyes are really expressive and very deep & there is something very pure, which I also feel is one of the reasons why he really suits the part because he has that sense of niceness and purity in his eyes," she had said.
The rumours of Prabhas and Kriti dating have been doing the rounds for quite some time though the duo had never reacted to these reports.
