New Delhi: On Friday, con artist Sukesh Chandrasekhar appeared in Delhi's Patiala House Court, in Rs 200 crore extortion case. He was brought before the Patiala House Court in Delhi, where he talked about Satyendra Jain, an AAP minister who is in jail.


Sukesh had already charged Jain with threatening and mentally harassing him. He also contacted Delhi's Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena through a letter. According to him, the AAP leader had been harassing and pressuring him to drop the charges.


Film producer Karim Morani has also been called in for questioning by the ED in relation to the matter.


According to reports, Sukesh also testified in court that Jacqueline Fernandez is innocent and that he is there to defend her.


According to India Today, Sukesh reassured the court that Jacqueline was not involved in the case and that she should not fear since he would be there to protect her. He said, “Jacqueline is not a part of this case, she does not need to worry, I am there to protect her."


Earlier, the Economic Offences Wing took Sukesh to court in Delhi. As he was leaving, a reporter asked him about his relationship with the actress, and he told the reporter to wish her a happy Valentine's Day.


A number of women Bollywood actors and models, including Jacqueline Fernandez and Nora Fatehi, have been questioned in this 2021 case by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for their alleged links to Chandrashekhar. 


From the age of 17, he started cheating people by imposing as a senior government official over calls. In 2007, even before he turned 18, he tried duping over 100 people on the pretext of getting their work done by the Bangalore Development Authority, by posing as a high-ranking bureaucrat. However, authorities succeeded in exposing him.
