Fans speculate Coldplay India Concert might get cancelled
Coldplay fans are voicing worries on X about the concert possibly getting cancelled due to ticketing scams. Many who missed out after waiting in the virtual queue shared their frustrations, but it's important to note that this is just speculation.
Here's how netizens are reacting:
BookMyShow’s CEO summoned
This comes after BookMyShow CEO Ashish Hemrajani and the company’s technical head were summoned on September 27 but did not appear before the Economic Offenses Wing (EOW). The summons were issued in response to complaints about fake tickets for the highly anticipated Mumbai concert. Hemrajani has now been summoned again by Mumbai Police to appear on September 30 as the investigation unfolds.
This investigation is based on a complaint from advocate Amit Vyas, who accused the online ticketing platform of enabling scalpers and third-party sites to sell tickets at high prices. In response, BookMyShow has distanced itself from scalpers and warned fans about black market scams.
