New Delhi: Remember Wahab Ali Bugti. The Pakistani singer who sang the 'Kana Yaari' track on Coke studio in collaboration with Kaifi Khalil and Eva B. Reportedly, the artist lost his house in the recent floods which have caused widespread destruction in Balochistan. Pictures of Wahab's family have been circulating online on social media platforms like Twitter. 


A Twitter user shared that Wahav had been living in dire conditions due to the floods after his mud house was destroyed. "Wahab Bhugti  who got famous after singing “Kana yari” at coke studio has been living in dire conditions due to the floods in Balochistan. His mud house was destroyed and his family has been living without a home," the tweet read. 


 






Besides the said tweet, pictures of Wahab from the Coke Studio set and from his current conditions with his family were shared. In one picture, we see Wahab holding a small child. In another picture, we see children sitting on a charpoy with a bedsheet as the only roof. 


Muniba Mazari, the goodwill ambassador of UN Women Pakistan, also shared the pictures of Bugti and tweeted, “So heartbreaking! This is brother Wahab Bugti & this is what he’s going through right now. Allah Rehm!” Through another tweet, Mazari also shared bank account details of Wahab so that people could help the artist at the current stage of his life.


 






Similar efforts of trying to create awareness about Wahab's condition stormed Twitter. A user by the name of Balochistan Flood Relief tweeted that he had been in touch with Wahab and shared the singer's mobile wallet account number for people to help.


"Hello folks, I just spoke to him and he has given me his jazzcash account. DM Jamali is currently being evacuated due to high threat of Pat Feeder flooding the area, Wahab is still stuck there. Please help him out. This is his Jazzcash account: 03002118309,” his tweet read.


Khalil, who collaborated with Wahab on 'Kana Yaari' also shared his jazzcash account number on Twitter and appealed to people for help.


Many Twitter users slammed Coke Studio for making millions of Wahab's voice and not helping him in his time of need to which Xulfi, a producer of Coke Studio, shared that they were doing their best to give 'all possible support on ground' to Wahab and his close ones.


Wahab Bugti was featured on Season 14 of Coke Studio with the song 'Kana Yaari' which has garnered more than 35 million views since it was released 7 months ago.
