Vedavid meaning: Actress Yami Gautam and her husband and director Aditya Dhar have become parents to a baby boy. The couple took to Instagram on Monday and announced the arrival of their baby boy – Vedavid. Their son was born Akshaya Tritiya, May 10, 2024. Vedavid means "one who knows the Vedas." It is also a name associated with Lord Vishnu, Lord Shiva, and Lord Ram. Though the origin of the name is not known, if we break down the name it signifies the following: "Veda" is a Sanskrit word meaning knowledge or sacred scripture in Hinduism, and "Vid" means one who has knowledge of something. In the post announcing the arrival of their baby boy, the couple wrote, “"We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the exceptionally dedicated and wonderful medical professionals at Surya Hospital, especially Dr. Bhupender Awasthi and Dr. Ranjana Dhanu, whose expertise and tireless efforts made this joyous occasion possible."

They also shared a picture which shows Shiva holding a child.

Yami and Aditya got married in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh in the presence of 20 guests during the COVID-19 pandemic.
