About Sonu Nigam


Sonu Nigam began singing at the age of four, joining his father Agam Kumar Nigam on stage to perform Mohammed Rafi's song "Kya Hua Tera Wada." He started accompanying his father at singing appearances at weddings and parties. At the age of 19, Sonu moved to Mumbai with his father to pursue a career in Bollywood singing. He received training from Hindustani classical singer Ustad Ghulam Mustafa Khan.
