New Delhi: Television actor Sreejita De got married to her beau, Michael Blohm-Pape. Their wedding took place in Germany on July 1, and the actor has shared the first pictures from the ceremony. For her wedding, Sreejita donned a white strapless gown with a long veil pinned to it. Her husband, on the other hand, complemented her look with a dapper black suit.


The 'Bigg Boss' fame posted pictures from the dreamy wedding ceremony on Instagram and wrote, "Today we celebrate the beginning of forever, hand in hand."






Michael is a Christian, and Sreejita is a Bengali Hindu. The actor previously revealed in an interview with TOI that she would be having a church wedding in addition to following all of the rituals and customs of the Christian faith when she gets married. She did, however, add that she would include Bengali rites and customs in her wedding. Although the couple got married in Germany this month, the actor will reportedly tie the knot with Michael in Bengali tradition later this year. 


Earlier in June, the couple shared their wedding invitation on social media. "You are invited to the wedding of Sreejita and Michael," it read.


Sreejita stated that she is disappointed that many of her friends won't be able to attend the wedding. "I am so excited about my wedding but at the same time one thing is bothering me, my very close friends Shiv Thakare and Abdu Rozik will not be able to attend my wedding. Devoleena Bhattacharjee is busy traveling so she won't be able to make it. Rashami Desai might come as she is shooting in London, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary also has some prior work-related commitments," the actor said,


"This makes me feel bit sad but I will make sure they compensate for missing on this special event. So they have to make it up in the Indian wedding which she is planning later. Will sure meet and have blast together," she added.


Sreejita and Michael are now starting their marital journey. This happened almost one and a half years after their engagement on December 21, 2021.
