Sonakshi Sinha's wedding: Actor Sonakshi Sinha is all set to tie the knot with her longtime beau Zaheer Iqbal on June 23. According to reports, the duo will opt for a registered marriage, followed by a post-wedding party at Bastian – At the Top in Mumbai. Though the duo has remained tight-lipped about the wedding details, their digital wedding invitation has been leaked.

The innovative invitation, which guests can unlock by scanning a QR code, features a voice message from Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal. Sonakshi says, “To all our hip, tech-savvy, and jasoos (detective) friends and family who have managed to land on this page, hi!” Zaheer then says, “For the last seven years that we have been together, all the joy, love, laughter, and many, many adventures have led us to this moment.”
Sonakshi then says, “The moment where we go from being each other’s rumoured girlfriend and boyfriend." Then Zaheer adds, “To being each other’s definite and official husband and wife.This celebration will not be complete without you so drop whatever you’re doing on the 23rd of June and come party with us."
Designed like a magazine cover, the invite reads, “We are making it official finally. The rumours were true so come celebrate with us at Bastian At the Top on 23rd June, 2024, 8:00 pm onwards.”
The invitation photo shows Zaheer and Sonakshi in a snowy landscape, with Zaheer planting a kiss on Sonakshi’s cheek.

Meanwhile, Sonakshi’s father Shatrughan Sinha and brother Luv said that they have no idea about the wedding.
“She hasn't told me anything about it. Main bhi utna hi jaanta hu jitna main media maine padha hai (I know only as much as I can from the media I read). If and when she takes me into confidence, my wife and I will give the couple my blessings. We wish her happiness always,” Shatrughan Sinha told Times Now.
He further said that he is waiting to be informed by Sonakshi about the wedding. "I am being asked by people close to me why I am not aware of this and the media is aware of it. All I can say is, aaj kal ke bachche consent nahin lete maap-baap ke, sirf inform karte hain (these days, children don't seek permission from parents, they just inform). We are waiting to be informed,” he added.

Luv, on the other hand, told HT City, “I won’t be commenting. It’s better if you reach out to Sonakshi or the other person. All I can say is I have nothing to say on this matter.”
Luv also spoke to ETimes and said that he has “no involvement in the matter”.
Sonakshi and Zaheer, who have been dating for several years, have also worked together in the 2022 film ‘Double XL’ also starring Huma Qureshi.
