New Delhi: Singer Mika Singh recently discussed his performance at the high-profile wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant earlier this year. He said that although he was paid a generous fee, he felt neglected because he did not receive a pricey luxury watch, unlike other celebrities who were present.

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's extravagant wedding, which spanned months and countries, was attended by several famous people. Reportedly, the Ambanis gifted Shah Rukh Khan and Ranveer Singh with limited-edition expensive watches from Audemars Piguet, each valued at more than 2 crore rupees. Sadly, Mika was not one of the lucky ones to get this lavish present. Mika talked about his disappointment in not receiving a gift from the Ambani family in an interview with The Lallantop.

Mika's Disappointment

The singer shared, "I went to perform at Anant Ambani’s wedding. He distributed a lot of money to everyone, even to me. But I am angry about one thing, I did not get the watch that all the other close people got."

The amount Mika received for his performance was not disclosed, but he made it clear that it was more than enough to cover his expenses. He said, “I was paid a lot of fees. But I cannot tell you how much this amount was. But if you want to guess, I can say that I got so much money that I could easily spend five years with it. I don’t have any special expenses. So I could easily spend five years with that money.”

Mika also discussed the changing public perception of musicians performing at private gatherings, particularly weddings. "When we two brothers used to sing at weddings, people used to feel bad that they were going and singing at weddings. Now, I see that everyone is singing at weddings. It doesn’t seem like anyone is going to a big show and performing. Now, they are earning all their money by singing at weddings," he said.
