New Delhi: Recent months have seen Bollywood star Shraddha Kapoor's personal life under the microscope, with speculation rife about her relationship with writer Rahul Mody. The couple's recent appearance at a Mumbai airport heading to the Ambani bash raised eyebrows, with Shraddha even introducing Mody to actor Aditya Roy Kapoor. Now, Hindustan Times reports sources reveal that the couple is reaching a point where they no longer feel the need to hide their romance.

HT quoted a source saying, “After working on the film, they (Shraddha Kapoor and Rahul Mody) have been going strong. They are in a very comfortable position with each other, which is why they don’t feel the need to hide their affair. And that’s the reason they are getting spotted together more often."

Last year, Shraddha and Rahul were snapped during a dinner date in Mumbai, sparking a frenzy among fans about their budding romance. According to sources, “They are not afraid to be photographed with each other, but that doesn’t mean they will make their relationship official anytime soon. They are both private people, and want to keep their relationship out of the limelight”.

As for Shraddha Kapoor's professional endeavours, she was last seen in ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar’ alongside Ranbir Kapoor. Upcoming projects include ‘Stree 2’ opposite Rajkumar Rao.

Who is Rahul Mody?

For those unfamiliar with Rahul Mody, he is credited as the writer of hits like ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2’ and ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’. The rumoured couple met on the set of ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’, where their friendship reportedly evolved into something more.

Originally from Mumbai, Rahul attended Whistling Woods International Institute for his education. He gained experience as an assistant director on films like ‘Akaash Vani’ and interned on 2011's ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’, directed by Luv Ranjan. It was originally planned that Rahul would go into business for his father, Amod.
