Sheeba Chadha is known for her hard hitting roles in films and series. 'We Are Yuvaa' recently interviewed talented actress Sheeba Chadha and her daughter Noor for their YouTube series, Be A Parent Yaar! During the interview, Sheeba got emotional talking about the hardships of being a single mother.
Sheeba emphasised the immense responsibility that comes with the role of being a single parent. She acknowledges that while her daughter's father is present, she is the primary caregiver, responsible for every aspect of her child's well-being.
Sheeba said, “Everybody knows it's hard. It is hard. Her dad was also there, it's not like he's not there. But you're always the primary person. You're the first line of defense, offense, everything. You're the first line of defense, offence, everything. I think that's the thing about everything, which is hard. It's like that's the hardest.”

Sheeba also expressed that the toughest aspect for her was realising that her child would not have the traditional "familial unit" that she had envisioned growing up.
She said, “For me, it was the toughest thing that my child is not going to have a ‘familial unit’ as I understood it as we grew up. I've said to Noor even recently that it's like the biggest wound I have, that my child did not have both parents in the same frame often enough. It's something really tough for me.”
The actress said that this thought comes from her conditioning. “We grew up with just how important that unit is supposed to be, whereas it completely logically we know if it's a damaged unit, it should not be. That's probably more detrimental to the child,” she concluded.
