Bollywood superstar Salman Khan recently shared a heartfelt moment with his father, legendary screenwriter Salim Khan, posting a picture of the two together along with Salim's first bike.
Salim Khan's first bike
Taking to Instagram on Thursday, Salman posted two photos: one where he is gazing at his father as Salim sits on his 1956 Triumph Tiger 100, and another where Salman himself is seated on the bike, looking off into the distance. The photos showcase Salman’s timeless charm, even as age has caught up with him.
In the caption, Salman wrote, “Dad’s 1st bike, Triumph Tiger 100, 1956,” reflecting on the nostalgic moment. Salim Khan, known for his pioneering work in the Hindi film industry with his writing partner Javed Akhtar, revolutionized Bollywood with their iconic screenplays. The duo played a pivotal role in the rise of Amitabh Bachchan’s "Angry Young Man" persona, which catapulted him to stardom. After splitting with Javed Akhtar, Salim Khan took a step back from cinema, while Javed continued to shape the industry with his contributions as a screenwriter and lyricist.
Salman Khan, the son of Salim, has followed in his father’s footsteps in the entertainment world, becoming one of the biggest stars in Bollywood. Meanwhile, Javed Akhtar's children, Farhan and Zoya Akhtar, have made their mark as leading filmmakers in the industry.
