New Delhi: The film ‘Patna Shuklla’, which is being produced by Arbaaz Khan, will have a posthumous appearance by the late veteran actor Satish Kaushik, who passed away in March 2023.  Recently, at the movie's Thursday premiere, Salman Khan got emotional while recalling the veteran actor Satish Kaushik. The two actors co-starred in a number of films, and Salman even appeared in ‘Tere Naam’, one of the year's biggest hits, directed by Satish in 2003.

When Salman was questioned about Satish's presence in the movie, he replied that the late actor was very close to his family.


“Humare toh bade hi close the voh. Aur sabse amazing cheez yeh hai ki unhone apni har… jo jo project pe voh kaam kar rahe the, voh sab unhone khatam kar diye. Every project of his… Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan mein bhi the voh ( He was very close to me. And, the most amazing thing about him was that he finished all of his projects including Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan)”, Khan said at the film’s screening.

Throughout the 1990s, Salman and Satish collaborated on a number of films, including ‘Chal Mere Bhai’ and ‘ulhan Hum Le Jayenge’. 


In Salman's 2023 movie ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’, Satish too had a cameo appearance. 


In addition, Salman produced the film ‘Kaagaz’, which was directed by Kaushik in 2021 and starred Pankaj Tripathi.


After suffering a heart attack, Satish abruptly passed away at the age of 66. Salman tweeted at the moment, remembering his friend, saying, “Always loved, cared and respected him and shall always remember him for the man that he was. May his soul rest in peace and strength to family and loved ones. .. #RIP Satish Ji.”


Among his last posthumous releases is 'Patna Shuklla'. In addition, he plays Jagjivan Ram in Kangana Ranaut's 'Emergency'. The movie is set to release on June 14.
