New Delhi: Gunshots were fired outside Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s residence, Galaxy Apartment in Bandra, Mumbai, on Sunday. An FIR has been filed against "unidentified individuals" under IPC section 307 (attempted murder) and the Arms Act.


Arbaaz Khan issues statement


Following the firing incident outside Salman Khan's residence on Sunday, self-acclaimed critic and celebrity Kamal Rashid Khan popularly known as KRK, tweeted calling Salman Khan "the biggest gangster" and the incident a publicity stunt by the actor himself.


On Monday, Salman's brother and actor-producer Arbaaz Khan issued a statement on social media, clarifying any rumours around the incident as a publicity stunt. He wrote, "The recent firing by two unindentified person on a motorcycle at Galaxy apartment the residence of the Salim Khan family is very distrurbing and unnerving. Our family has been taken aback by this shocking incident that took place. Unfortunately some people claiming to be close to our family and pretending to be the spokesperson have been making loose statements to the media saying it's all a publicity stunt and the family remains unaffected which is not true and these views should not be taken seriously."


He further continued in his statement, "No member of the Salim Khan family has made any statement regarding this incident to the media. At this time the family is helping and cooperating with the police in the investigation of this untoward incident. We have faith in the Mumbai Police and we have been assured they will do everything in their capacity to protect and secure our family. Thank you everyone for your love and support."


 






What KRK tweeted about firing at Salman Khan's Galaxy Apartment


Kamal Rashid Khan tweeted, "It’s all drama by Sallu. Sallu is the biggest gangster in India and all other gangsters work for him. Why they did shoot in the air at 5am, when everyone was sleeping. He must have arranged all this to get publicity and sympathy! Because he knows that I am going to reveal what he did with Sushant Singh."


Lawrence Bishnoi gang takes responsibility for firing at Salman Khan's Galaxy Apartment


Following the shooting incident outside Salman's residence, Anmol Bishnoi took responsibility for the event through an online post, issuing a warning message to the Bollywood star. Bishnoi described the incident as a "trailer," as reported by PTI.


According to an official source within the Delhi Police, one of the two men is believed to be a criminal from Gurugram who has been implicated in numerous killings and robberies in Haryana.
