Following Shah Rukh Khan’s message on the terror attack in Pahalgam, Salman Khan also took to social media to express his anguish and condemn the horrific incident. The attack, which occurred on Tuesday in Kashmir’s Pahalgam region, claimed the lives of 26 innocent civilians and left several others injured. In the wake of the tragedy, celebrities have been voicing their grief and outrage.

On Wednesday, Salman Khan posted on X, "Kashmir, heaven on planet earth turning into hell. Innocent people being targeted, my heart goes out to their families. Ek bhi innocent ko marna puri kainath ko marne ke barabar hai (Killing even one innocent is equivalent to killing the entire universe)."
Salman had previously shot portions of his 2015 blockbuster 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' in Kashmir, including scenes in Pahalgam.

Earlier, Shah Rukh Khan had shared his sentiments through social media. He wrote, "Words fail to express the sadness and anger at the treachery and inhumane act of violence that has occurred in Pahalgam. In times like these, one can only turn to God and say a prayer for the families that suffered and express my deepest condolences. May we, as a Nation, stand united, strong and get justice against this heinous act."

About the attack
The attack, which happened in the Baisaran area of Pahalgam around 3 p.m. on Tuesday, targeted tourists. Gunfire erupted suddenly, causing chaos and panic in the scenic location. Security forces were immediately deployed to the site.
The attack has prompted a shutdown across several districts of Jammu, including Reasi, Udhampur, Katra, Kathua, and Samba, as a mark of protest. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also cut short his official trip to Saudi Arabia and returned to Delhi to address the situation.
