During an interview with ANI, Urvashi Rautela expressed concern for the actor but faced backlash for seemingly flaunting her diamond ring—a gesture many criticised as tone-deaf amid the serious incident.

Speaking of the incident where Saif Ali Khan was stabbed, Urvashi remarked, “It is very unfortunate. Now Daaku Maharaaj has crossed Rs 105 crore at the box office, and my mother gifted me this diamond-studded Rolex, while my father gifted me this mini watch on my finger, but we don’t feel confident wearing it outside openly. There is this insecurity that anybody can attack us. Whatever happened was very unfortunate."

Saif Ali Khan suffered multiple injuries in the attack, including a severe wound near his spine and another on his neck. He was quickly rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where he underwent several surgeries. Doctors have since confirmed that Saif is out of danger and is now recovering under observation. 

Meanwhile, ‘Daaku Maharaaj’, starring Nandamuri Balakrishna and Bobby Deol, has become a box office success, crossing Rs 100 crore globally in just four days. Directed by Bobby Kohli, the film also stars Shraddha Srinath and Prakash Raj in pivotal roles.
