Saif Ali Khan recently opened up about his son Taimur’s reaction to one of his films, and it wasn’t exactly glowing. During a candid conversation with his ‘Jewel Thief’ co-star Jaideep Ahlawat on Netflix India’s YouTube podcast, Saif revealed that his 9-year-old son wasn’t too thrilled after watching Adipurush.

When Jaideep asked whether his children watched his movies, Saif admitted he had to apologise to Taimur for making him sit through the film, suggesting it didn’t quite land with the young viewer. He said, “No, because I have done different characters. Sometimes it's been a bad guy. So, then they ask me, ‘Are you a good guy or a bad guy?’ Maine abhi Adipurush dikhaayi (laughs). Woh kuchh der ke baad mujhe aise dekhne lage. So I said ‘Yeah, sorry’. He said ‘it's okay’. He forgave me.”
Saif Ali Khan faced heavy criticism for his portrayal of Lankesh in ‘Adipurush’ following the film’s release, with many viewers calling it one of the weakest performances of his career.
