Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, sister of Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor, is all set to embark on a new journey — her debut in a full-fledged Bollywood entertainer. Known for her appearance on 'The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives', Riddhima confirmed the exciting news to Hindustan Times, revealing, “Yes, I am filming a movie in the hills,” and added, “All I can say is that we are shooting here until June.”
Who all will be a part of Riddhima's porject?
While she remained tight-lipped about the details of the project, several reports suggest that comedian Kapil Sharma and Riddhima’s mother, veteran actor Neetu Kapoor, will also be part of the film. When asked, Riddhima neither confirmed nor denied these reports but shared that she is “there and enjoying the process thoroughly.”

Belonging to the legendary Kapoor family — often referred to as Bollywood's first film family — Riddhima is the daughter of late iconic actor Rishi Kapoor and acclaimed actress Neetu Singh. Her brother, Ranbir Kapoor, is already a leading name in the industry. Riddhima expressed that her family is thrilled about her acting debut.
“They are so excited. I keep sending them snippets of the scenes, and yes, they’re fully supportive. The best part is mom and I are staying together, and we rehearse our lines every day. Samara (her daughter) is going to visit me once her school breaks for summer holidays,” she shared warmly.
Interestingly, Riddhima, who is also a successful jewellery designer, hadn’t planned to pursue a career in films. “I didn’t plan this. When I was approached, I just said yes. I heard the script and loved it,” she said, signing off.
