New Delhi: Tamil industry superstar Rajinikanth has been invited to the inauguration ceremony of Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Sharing an update about the same, BJP leader Ra.Arjunamurthy took to his official Twitter( X) account to post a few pictures.
Rajinikanth and several other leaders are seen with the invitation card. In the pictures, the megastar is seen in a white kurta and a veshti. Rajinikanth was seen posing with others outside his home.
Ra.Arjunamurthy captioned the post, "Today's event was the best experience of my life!"
"Our dear leader Mr. @rajinikanth I was very happy to visit him at his residence and invite him and his family on behalf of Ayodhya, Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra for the Ayodhya Kumbabhishek event on January 22 along with the RSS officials." His post read.
Rajinikanth recently made a special appearance outside his Chennai residence on New Year. Several pictures of the megastar were circulating on social media.
About 1 lakh people are expected to be in Ayodhya on January 22 for the Ram temple's 'pran partishtha' which will be attended by PM Narendra Modi. The Ram temple complex, built in the traditional Nagara style, will be 380 feet in length, 250 feet in width and 161 feet in height.
On the work front, Rajinikanth was seen in 'Jailer' which was a hige blockbuster. The Nelson Dilipkumar directorial was among the higest grossing films of 2023. In the film, Rajinikanth played a man avenging the death of his cop son.
Rajinikanth's upcoming films include a yet-to-be-titled project with Lokesh Kanagarj and daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth's 'Lal Salaam'.
Rajinikanth will also be seen with Amitabh Bcahchan in Lyca Productions' 'Vettaiyan', which is being directed byTJ Gnanavel. The film also stars Rana Daggubati, Ritika Singh, Manju Warrier, Fahadh Faasil.
Fans are really excited to watch what Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan brig together to the table. The two last worked together in the 1991 film 'Hum' directed by Mukul Anand.
