Raghav Chadha On Life Post Engagement With Parineeti Chopra: 'My Colleagues Tease Me Less Now'

New Delhi: On May 13, actress Parineeti Chopra announced her engagement to Raghav Chadha, leader of the Aam Aadmi Party. The politician, who was once considered to be one of the most desirable bachelors, was recently questioned about how his life had changed since getting engaged. He said that his party coworkers and seniors no longer tease him as much.

During an interview with The Quint, Raghav said, "Well, I think we should restrict this conversation to the political alliances and not personal alliances. But yes, most certainly, my colleagues, co-workers in the party, and my seniors tease me a little less now. Earlier they used to ask me to get married, now they tease me a little less because they know I am getting married soon.”

Parineeti and Raghav Chadha got engaged in an intimate ceremony in Delhi among close friends and family members. Both of them later took to their social media handles to share adorable pictures, announcing their engagement and the beginning of a new journey. The couple, who is all set to tie-the-knot by the end of this year, is currently scouting for wedding locations.

Raghav Chadha shared a heartwarming note for Parineeti alongwith unseen pictures from their engagement ceremony. He wrote, "And one fine day, this beautiful girl entered my life, adding a colourful dash of smiles, laughter and sparkle to brighten it up, and whose gentle, reassuring embrace promised eternal love and support. No wonder our engagement was such a happy occasion where tears of joy, laughter, happiness and merry dancing brought our loved ones even closer - quintessentially the Punjabi way."

 

Parineeti and Raghav recently visited the Golden Temple in Amritsar, a couple of weeks agao and shared a serenading picture featuring themselves engrossed in divinity as they prayed at the Golden Temple. Raghav shared how this particular trip with Parineeti by his side was more special by writing, "Amidst sacred hymns and serenity, I closed my eyes, bowed my head, and said a little prayer. With @parineetichopra by my side, it was even more special. Blessed to seek blessings at Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib ji in Amritsar today."
