New Delhi: A horrific terror incident in Pahalgam, Kashmir, left the country in shock on Tuesday afternoon. The terrorist attack took place in the picturesque Baisaran Valley, which is frequently called 'mini Switzerland.' The victims included honeymooners and families on holiday. In the latest video, 'Bigg Boss OTT 2' winner Elvish Yadav has broken his silence by revealing a personal connection with one of the victims' widows.
Elvish Yadav claimed that Himanshi, the wife of Lieutenant Vinay Narwal, who was martyred in the attack, was his classmate and good friend from Hansraj College.

In a heartfelt vlog, Elvish Yadav described how he recognised Himanshi in the news reports about the Pahalgam terror attack. The YouTuber said, “The first time I saw the video, I had no idea it was her.”
Elvish, who was having a hard time processing the tragedy, said that he couldn't give her a call.
“I was shocked. We used to study together. I graduated in 2018. We used to go to college together by Metro. After leaving college, we never spoke, even though she lived in Gurgaon. So, I called one of my friends, who was from our college and in the same batch. That friend, who is now married, confirmed that the person he saw in the video was indeed Himanshi,” he shared with a trace of emotion as he recalled their time together as students.

Indian authorities have launched a search for the attackers responsible for the Pahalgam incident, which resulted in 26 deaths and scores of injuries. The government has responded by announcing strict measures, such as sealing the border with Pakistan and restricting cross-border travel to a special visa program, among other things, to show that it is fighting terrorism effectively.
