New Delhi: Nawazuddin Siddiqui's estranged wife, Aaliya, stirred speculation earlier this week after sharing glimpses of their 14th-anniversary celebration in Dubai on her Instagram. The photos, featuring the couple with their children Shora and Yaani, left netizens wondering if they had reconciled following their involvement in a property dispute and public allegations against each other last year.

Speaking to ETimes about the surprise Instagram post commemorating 14 years of togetherness, Aaliya stated, "In recent times, a few things have changed in my life. I felt that when we shared bad things with the world, we should also share the good ones. I feel what’s good should also be seen. Nawaz was also here, so we celebrated the anniversary with the kids."

Addressing the changes in their relationship, Aaliya continued, "I feel the problems we faced in our relationship were always because of a third person. But now that misunderstanding is out of our lives. Because of our kids, we’ve completely surrendered."

She also added, "There is no option of being apart in life now because the kids are also growing up. Nawaz is very close to Shora, and she was very disturbed after whatever happened. She couldn’t tolerate it. So we decided that we are not going to fight anymore and will live together, peacefully."

Previously, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Aaliya's public dispute over their relationship had made headlines, with Aaliya accusing Nawaz of abusing his power.

In March 2023, Aaliya claimed that the actor had forcibly thrown her and their two children from his residence in Mumbai. Following this, Nawazuddin filed a defamation suit against Aaliya.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Aaliya last appeared on the controversial reality show ‘Bigg Boss OTT 2’, where she was eliminated within the first two weeks in June last year.
