Madhuri Dixit has honored the legendary painter M. F. Husain by displaying his artwork in her luxurious Mumbai home. Husain always viewed Madhuri as his muse and even worked with her on a film. She shared this during an interview with Architectural Digest while giving a tour of her apartment.
Madhuri Dixit pays homage to M. F. Husain
Architectural Digest shared a bunch of pictures of her home with the caption, “On the 53rd floor of her Mumbai apartment, Madhuri Dixit (@madhuridixitnene) hums a tune. Her walk may have been composed and collected, and her tune may have been soulful, but memories of her dancing to some of the most iconic hits of the 90s in Bollywood came rushing back. We have seen many versions of her —Mohini in Tezaab(1988), Madhu in Dil (1990), Shivani in Anjaam(1994), Nisha in Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! (1994), Pooja in Dil Toh Pagal Hai (1997), and more—yet Madhuri's earnest and level-headed disposition outside reels is always lauded as class apart. It is with this approach that she and her husband, Dr Shriram Madhav Nene (@drneneofficial) , called architect Apoorva Shroff of Lyth Design (@lythdesign) to design their sophisticated abode in a Mumbai high-rise.”
