New Delhi: TV actor Abhishek Malik, who is renowned for his role in Ektaa Kapoor's beloved daily soap ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ has confirmed his divorce from his wife Suhani Chaudhary. Abhishek and Suhani have officially filed for divorce after two years of marriage. The actor verified this development and cited incompatibility as the primary reason for their separation. He clarified that they have mutually decided to part ways amicably.
Abhishek Malik and Suhani Chaudhary got married in October 2021. Now, the recent statements from both sides shed light on their decision to part ways.
In an exclusive interview with ETimes, Abhishek openly acknowledged the split, pointing to compatibility and understanding issues behind their decision. He said, “Yes, it’s true that Suhani and I are separating and moving on. We experienced compatibility and understanding issues in our marriage. The decision has been amicable, and there are no hard feelings between us. We only wish each other well.”
Meanwhile, Suhani added, ''We took the plunge without anticipating that we could be incompatible, something that we figured out after we started living together. However, there are no grudges or regrets. We realised that both of us should move on with our lives. Parting ways is probably the right decision for both of us. I wish Abhishek a great future ahead.''

He later garnered significant attention through reality television, notably appearing in ‘Splitsvilla 7’.
