Fans of Korean actor-singer Lee Seung-gi were surprised to see all the posts from his official Instagram account being deleted, including the profile photo. As the fans wondered whether the account was hacked, his management agency clarified and said that the removal was done for ‘renewal’ purposes.

According to [TI, Lee's agency Human Made issued a statement confirming that the actor, known for K-dramas such as 'The King To Hearts', 'Vagabond' and 'Mouse', had personally deleted the posts.

"It is true that Lee Seung-gi had deleted all of the (Instagram) posts himself. He was not hacked and nothing has happened to him, it was just done for a renewal," PTI quoted the agency's statement.

Before the statement, fans were wondering about the deleted posts and some even wondered whether his account was hacked. Many took to Twitter to support his decision. A user wrote, "I am with you in your new start.” "All of his posts (crying emojis)! Doesn't he need to delete just a bit of them? #LeeSeungGi I'll respect his decision," another user wrote.

"Maybe for the better and to start afresh after so much upheaval in his life,” wrote another user.

"There is nothing to worry as Seunggi is very happy. Just the day before in Manila. As long as it’s not hacked then we’re all good,” tweeted a user.

Seung Gi currently has 4.4 million followers, '0 posts' and is following 45 accounts.

Lee recently started hosting SBS' variety show 'Strong Heart League', the reboot version of 'Strong Heart'.
