Kartik Aaryan's McLaren GT: Kartik Aaryan is currently busy promoting his upcoming film 'Chandu Champion'. The actor, who saw decent success in his last film ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’, had given a blockbuster in 2022 with ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.’ The film was a box office hit at the time when Hindi films managed to make an impact. T-Series head Bhushan Kumar celebrated lead actor of the film Kartik by gifting him a luxurious McLaren GT worth Rs 4.72 crore.

Why Kartik doesn't drive McLaren GT

However, despite receiving such an extravagant gift, Kartik hasn’t been able to fully enjoy his McLaren GT. In an interview with The Lallantop, he revealed an unusual problem that kept him from driving his prized car. “I drive my other car. I have hardly driven the McLaren. It was in the garage for a long time so rats chewed the mat which cost me a lot. I had to pay lakhs of rupees to fix the mat,” Kartik explained.

Sharing his excitement initially, Kartik had posted a couple of photos on Instagram where he posed with his new car. He captioned them, “Chinese khaane ke liye nayi table gift mil gayi 🍜🚗 Mehnat ka phal meetha hota hai suna tha..Itna bada hoga nahi pata tha ❤️ India’s 1st McLaren GT 🥹 Agla gift Private jet sir 😂 #Gratitude 🙏🏻 📸- @prathameshb84 @tejas.kudtarkar @bombaytimes.”

Kartik and Bhushan Kumar collaboration

Kartik Aaryan and Bhushan Kumar first collaborated on the 2018 hit film 'Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety.' Their partnership continued with 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2,' and they teamed up again for 'Shehzada,' co-starring Kriti Sanon. Unfortunately, "Shehzada" did not replicate the success of their previous films.

Kartik is also set to collaborate with Bhushan Kumar once more for the third installment of 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa,’ slated for release later this year. The film also stars Triptii Dimri and Vidya Balan, who was in the original Bhool Bhulaiyaa. The third installment will also be directed by Anees Bazmee.
