New Delhi: Actor Kartik Aaryan’s 2011 debut movie ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’ was a turning point in his early career. In a recent interview with Mashable Mehfil, Kartik Aaryan recalled how he missed his engineering exams for Luv Ranjan-directed ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’ auditions. He opted to go to the audition even though he had an exam the same day. He got his big break in Bollywood because of this bold choice.
Kartik Aaryan said, “I feel that luck is needed. You have to be at the right place at the right time. There is some destiny. For example, in ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’, I had to give an audition for the first time for a film. That day, I had an exam in college. I missed it.”
The ‘Chandu Champion’ actor said, “I don't know if I had not missed it, I would not have been here today. So, now I would not suggest you guys to do something like this, but at that time it happened to me. Because auditions for films are not easily known, so for me, it was like I was getting one chance."
Kartik said to himself, "Thik hai exam aaj chod deta hoon. ATKT lag jayegi. Lekin kuch main sambhal lunga. Kuch karuna lekin ye audition ka exam dena zaruri hai.”
Kartil added, “I don't know if something happened, I chose that audition. Maybe on some other day, I would have felt that I don't travel so much, I just go straight to college, take my exam, and focus on it. But this It happens and that’s how ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’ happened.”
“So, those are small things sometimes they become important. Sometimes, it is a matter of time, sometimes it is destiny. But then, for that, you need hard work. When all these things happen together, then things happen,” he concluded.
In the same interview, the actor mentioned that he was famous in his college for ‘ATKT’ as he used to remain absent in most of the exams.
