New Delhi: Janhvi Kapoor, who will pay tribute to late singer Lata Mangeshkar at the Filmfare Awards, engaged in lighthearted banter with host Maniesh Paul. When asked which actor she would be hesitant to collaborate with again, Janhvi Kapoor singled out Rajkummar Rao.
After her initial quip, Janhvi praised Rajkummar on his outstanding talent and said that his skills have had a major impact on her acting.
Janhvi Kapoor said, "I hesitate to work with Rajkummar Rao again because every time I share a scene with him, I get a complex as an actor. I am constantly in awe of his talent and feel overwhelmed by how much there is to learn from him. I find it challenging to work with him as it makes me realize how much more I have to achieve and learn."
'Roohi', a comedic horror film directed by Hardik Mehta, starred Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao. Dinesh Vijan produced the movie under the Maddock Films label. In the Maddock Supernatural Universe, the movie is the second installment; 'Bhediya' came before 'Stree'. 'Roohi' recounts the tale of a ghost that kidnaps brides when they are on their honeymoons. Janhvi played the titular character in the film.
