Dr. Nitin Dange shares Saif's health update

Dr. Nitin Dange, who treated actor Saif Ali Khan following a shocking stabbing incident at his Mumbai residence, has shared an update on the actor's recovery.

"Saif Ali Khan is completely fine now. He sustained four deep wounds and two additional minor injuries during the attack. Among these, a 2.5-inch piece of a knife had lodged into his back. If the knife had gone deeper into his back, it could have caused paralysis. However, with God’s blessings, Saif has been saved from any major complications," Dr. Dange explained.

He further added, "Saif may be discharged within two days. From tomorrow, we will begin helping him walk again. Physiotherapy sessions will also start tomorrow. If his recovery goes as expected, Saif Ali Khan will be ready to resume shooting within a week."

The actor, who was rushed to Lilavati Hospital after the incident, underwent surgery and is now stable. Fans and well-wishers have been sending him prayers and support as he makes a steady recovery.

What happened

According to the police, the intruder had an argument with the maid, and when Saif intervened, he was attacked. Preliminary investigations suggest that the intruder did not forcibly enter the flat but may have slipped in during the night. Saif was initially moved to the ICU but is expected to be transferred to a regular ward in a day.
