Priyanka Chopra on Wednesday shared an inspiring encounter that left a lasting impression on her. The global icon took to Instagram to narrate an incident involving a woman selling guavas on the roadside.

Priyanka Chopra shares encounter with a woman selling guavas

In a video message, Priyanka recounted how, while en route to Visakhapatnam airport, she noticed a woman selling guavas and decided to stop. "I love kaccha (raw) guavas, so I asked her how much they cost. She told me Rs 150 for all, so I handed her Rs 200 and told her to keep the change," she shared. However, what happened next deeply moved her.

Rather than accepting the extra money as a tip, the vendor returned before the traffic light turned green and handed Priyanka two additional guavas. "A working woman, she did not want charity. That really moved me," the actress said, admiring the woman’s integrity and work ethic.

Along with the video, Priyanka posted pictures of the guavas she bought, moments from her journey, and a snapshot of a signboard reading "Talamali." Keeping her caption simple, she wrote, "Lately" followed by a heart emoji.

On work front

On the professional front, Priyanka has been occupied with her much-anticipated venture SSMB29, directed by the acclaimed SS Rajamouli. The film, starring Mahesh Babu, is set to be a grand adventure spanning multiple exotic locations. Reports suggest that Mahesh Babu's character draws inspiration from Lord Hanuman, and the movie is being developed on an unprecedented budget ranging between Rs 900–1,000 crores. Speculation is rife that SSMB29 will be released in two parts to do justice to its ambitious vision.

The project also marks Priyanka’s comeback to Telugu cinema after 23 years. She last appeared in the 2002 romantic film ‘Apuroopam’, directed by P Ravi Shankar.
