New Delhi: Hina Khan has been sharing photos during her Umrah journey to Mecca, Saudi Arabia. She talked about the feelings she gets when she visits the beautiful Kaaba, describing how it soothes and uplifts her soul. At the sacred site, Hina Khan was clad in the traditional black abaya worn by women. Though it wasn't her first Umrah, she still felt the same levels of apprehension and emotions as on her first visit as she shared her experience with the followers.
Before going on the spiritual trip, Hina Khan was hospitalised due to high fever.
Hina Khan gave her followers a visual tour of her pilgrimage and an inside look at the emotional and spiritual effects of the trip via her social media posts. On her Instagram stories, one of the photos shows Hina reading from the holy book while veiled in a burka. “A peaceful corner in safa-marwa and my zamzam that's all u need..” she captioned the photo.
"It was not my first time," Khan said in a later Instagram post as she pondered on the depth of her feelings. "But the anxiety, nervousness, emotions are exactly like the first time. You weep and weep and only weep like a little girl.”
She continued by saying that seeing the magnificent Kaaba was an overpowering feeling. “You feel hypnotized, your lips freeze, you get chills,” she wrote.
With heartfelt expressions, the actress shared snippets of her sacred journey on social media. She captioned her close-up photos of the holy site with: "Jumma Mubarak Blessed Alhamdullilah MAKE DUA." The site geotagged as "Makkah Masjid-al-Haram"
From a professional standpoint, Hina’s most recent appearance was as a contestant on ‘Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi’.
