New Delhi: Hema Malini and her daughters Esha and Ahana Deol were noticeably absent from Sunny Deol's son Karan Deol's wedding a few months ago, and their absence was recognised by the public. It was theorised at the time that there was a discord between the two sets of families. Hema Malini has recently spoken about the dynamic between the two families, revealing that Sunny Deol and his brother Bobby Deol often visit them. She also said that they are "always together."
Hema Malini recently saw ‘Gadar 2’ and spoke highly of her stepson Sunny Deol. Hema Malini also talked about reunion with Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol in an interview with News18 Showsha.
According to Hema Malini, her family is constantly united and she has no idea why others assume otherwise. She said, "I am feeling very happy, I do not feel it is something new because it is very normal. Many times they keep coming home and all but we do not publish it anywhere, we are not the type to take pictures and immediately put it up on Instagram. We are not that kind of a family."
Hema Malini added, "We are all very much together, always together. Any problem we are always together with each other. So, the press got it and it is nice, they are happy about it, and I am also happy."
According to the seasoned actress, there were "certain reasons" why her family had to miss Karan Deol's wedding. "It is funny how people make it look like we are separated. We are always together, whole family is with us. For certain reasons, they were not in the marriage and that is a different matter. But Sunny, Bobby always come during Raksha Bandhan since the beginning," she shared.
In 1980, Hema Malini and Dharmendra tied the knot. Dharmendra's first wife was Prakash Kaur, and they had five children together: daughters Ajieta and Vijeta and boys Sunny and Bobby Deol. He has two daughters, Esha and Ahana, with his second wife, actress Hema Malini.
